Permian Crude Flows to The Gulf Coast Rebound to Highest Monthly Figure on Record

Crude oil flows from the Permian Basin to the U.S. Gulf Coast rebounded in May, reaching the highest monthly figure on record after two consecutive months of decline. May volumes rose by 250 Mb/d compared to the previous month, totaling 5.76 MMb/d.

Canadian Drilling – Oil and Gas Rig Counts Remain Range Bound

For the week ending October 25, Baker Hughes reported that the Western Canadian gas-directed rig count rose two to 66 (blue line in left hand chart below), eight less than one year ago and holding very much in the 60s range where it has been since the start of July.
