U.S. Weekly Propane Inventories Increase 1 MMbbl Over Industry Expectations and the Average Build for the Week

The EIA reported that total U.S. propane/propylene inventories increased by 2.9 MMbbl for the week ended July 28, which was above average industry expectations for a 2-MMbbl gain and the 1.9 MMbbl average build for the week.

The Netherlands Remains Top Destination for VLCCs in July

Data from the Crude Voyager report shows that crude oil exports averaged 3.2 MMb/d for most of July, down 11% from the volumes loaded in June. All regions, except for Beaumont, loaded fewer cargoes during the month. The drop in exports was also marked by less vessel activity across the U.S.

U.S. Feedgas Demand Down After Incident at Columbia Gas Transmission

Overall feedgas last week averaged 12 Bcf/d, down slightly week-on-week. Feedgas demand fell as low as 11.4 Bcf/d earlier in the week after an incident on Columbia Gas Transmission caused deliveries to Cove Point to drop, but overall feedgas has since rebounded and is back above 12 Bcf/d.

U.S. Gasoline Prices Jump 16.1 Cents/Gal in a Week, Following WTI Higher

Gasoline prices have continued their summertime move higher, with the U.S. average for regular unleaded standing at $3.752/gal on Monday (far-left bar in graphic below), up 16.1 cents from a week ago and up 20.9 cents from a month ago, according to data published by AAA.
