Pony Express Pipeline, operated by Tallgrass, announced a new binding open season for crude oil transportation from its Carpenter terminal (see red circled area on map below) in southeastern Wyoming in exchange for incentive tariff rates.

Overall U.S. feedgas averaged about 12 Bcf/d last week (see chart below), down slightly from the previous week, with lower flows at Corpus Christi and Cove Point mostly offset by higher flows at Freeport and Cameron.

On September 20, LNG Canada reported that it will be increasing flaring at its Kitimat, BC, site as part of the process of testing natural gas intake to the plant’s gas turbines. The turbines use natural gas as a fuel to run compression and liquefaction equipment that is used to produce LNG.
