We’ve updated our green hydrogen project list this week to include HIF Global’s potential facility on the Texas Gulf Coast. Located just southwest of Houston, the HIF Matagorda eFuels Facility will use green hydrogen and captured CO2 to produce low-carbon synthetic fuels.

Crude Exports Jump to 4.6 MMb/d – Second Highest on Record

Crude oil exports across the U.S. Gulf Coast topped 4.5 MMb/d for the second time in March, with estimated loadings for the week ended March 17 at 4.6 MMb/d - the second-highest on record. Most of last week's additional barrels (873 Mb/d) were loaded in the Corpus Christi area.

Strong Waterborne Imports Support East Coast Propane Market

PADD 1 (East Coast) propane inventories are in good shape heading into the final week of the winter heating season. As shown on chart below, total East Coast inventories are at 6.5 MMbbl, which is 3.5 MMbbl more than 2022, 2.9 MMbbl above the 5-year average and 1.7 MM over the 5-year maximum.
