Western Canada Select heavy blend crude for February delivery in Hardisty, Alberta, last traded at $12.10 per barrel below the WTI benchmark, according to NE2 Canada Inc, having settled at $12.15 per barrel below the U.S. crude benchmark on Tuesday.

NextDecade delays Rio Grande LNG decision until second half

NextDecade has agreed to supply Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L) with 2 million metric tons per year of LNG over 20 years from the proposed facility near Brownsville, Texas.

The plant will have a minimum of two trains producing 11 million metric tons per year, the company said.

The project would include the capture and storage of more than 5 million metric tons per year of carbon dioxide.
