Houston consultant touts future of energy industry at TU Friends of Finance talk

Energy consultant Rusty Braziel gave some advice Wednesday to folks in the oil patch.
Stay in it.
“It’s a dynamic market,” said Braziel, president of Houston-based RBN Energy. “It’s faced with lot of challenges. It’s growing fast. There are a lot of good folks in this industry.
“They believe in what they are doing. If you ever wanted to get into this line of work, this is the time to do it. Just don’t take yourself too awful seriously.”
Braziel was guest speaker at a Friends of Finance luncheon at the University of Tulsa’s Allen Chapman Student Union, delivering a 27-minute talk on “U.S. Energy Markets: The Land of Plenty” before taking questions…
