The amount of LNG that arrived in Asian ports from LNG Canada reached a record in July 2026 based on data reported in our Canadian NatGas Billboard. Based on the arrival date for each cargo at an Asian destination (using ship tracking data from Bloomberg), the amount of LNG shipped from LNG Canada totalled 1.13 million tonnes (MMt, ~1.75 Bcf/d) in July (height of rightmost stacked columns in chart below), edging out the previous record holder of May at 1.11 MMt (~1.73 Bcf/d). The record comes after a slow June arrival rate of 0.70 MMt (~1.09 Bcf/d).
