On November 4, the Williams Companies held their third-quarter earnings call. The focus was very much on natural gas, including multiple expansions of the Williams pipelines and storage, diverse both in geography and in the markets served, plus a discussion of the recent Williams investment in Woodside LNG’s Louisiana LNG terminal.
CEO Chad Zamarin, along with EVP Rob Wingo and COO Larry Larsen, explained expansions on Transco in the Northeast, Southeast and South Texas. Larsen described the expansion capabilities of Transco as "fairly unlimited."
They also laid out new projects on the Mountain West and Northwest Pipeline systems in Wyoming and an expansion at Transco’s Pine Prairie salt-dome storage facility in Louisiana. As for Louisiana LNG, they explained the equity and offtake commitments Williams has made, plus the Williams investment in and commitment to operate the Driftwood Line 200 pipeline from Gillis, Louisiana to the LNG facility.
