The NCAA women’s basketball tournament came to a close on Sunday with South Carolina crowned as the new champions. Meanwhile, the men’s championship will be decided Monday night in a game between Purdue and UConn. At the beginning of March Madness, we wrote in Come Dancing that the competition to build natural gas pipeline projects out of the Permian Basin can be similar to the famous basketball tournament in its ferocity and potential for upset. However, while sports brackets only get narrower as the tournament progresses, in the pipeline world there is always the potential for a new competitor to enter and get a shot at the title.
