U.S. LNG feedgas surged to an all-time high last weekend, reaching the long-awaited 20 bcf/d milestone as winter peak operations ramp up across several terminals.

U.S. LNG feedgas demand averaged 19.6 Bcf/d (blue-dotted line below) for the week ending October 19, up about 1.5 Bcf/d from the previous week, according to our LNG Voyager Weekly report.

Strong intake at Sabine Pass and Plaquemines, along with continued commissioning progress at Golden Pass, helped push demand to record levels, with further growth expected this winter as we discuss in our blog, The Time Has Come.
