Hurricane Beryl disrupted U.S. ethane and LPG exports as all Texas ports shut ahead of the storm’s July 8 landfall between Corpus Christi and Houston.
Ethane exports in the first two weeks of July reached 303 Mb/d, down nearly 17% from 364 Mb/d in June, according to our latest NGL Voyager report. Outflows were lower at all three U.S. ethane export terminals - Enterprise Products Partners’s 240 Mb/d terminal on the Houston Ship Channel, and Energy Transfer’s 180 Mb/d and 75 Mb/d facilities in Nederland, Texas, and Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, respectively.
