US Rig Count Ends Skid, Climbs To 680

US oil and gas rig count climbed to 680 for the week ending July 7 according to Baker Hughes, the first weekly gain since April 28. Rigs were added in the Haynesville (+2), Permian (+1), Gulf of Mexico (+1) and All Other (+3), while the Eagle Ford (-1) lost one rig.
