The EIA reported that total U.S. propane/propylene inventories had a build of 576 Mbbl for the week ended April 25. That was less than industry expectations for an increase of 1.9 MMbbl and the average build for the week of 769 Mbbl. Total U.S. propane stocks are now at 47.2 MMbbl, 9.7 MMbbl, or 17%, less than the same week in 2024 but 6.4 MMbbl, or 16%, more than the 5-year minimum. Inventories are 3.6 MMbbl, or 7%, below the 5-year average.
