U.S. LNG feedgas moved lower last week as brief maintenance at Freeport and volatility at Golden Pass weighed on intake.

U.S. LNG feedgas demand averaged about 17.8 Bcf/d for the week ending October 5, down 0.5 Bcf/d week-on-week (see blue-dotted line below).

Golden Pass continues to face delays in bringing its first train fully online, with no timeline clarifications announced, according to our LNG Voyager Weekly Report.  Feedgas has been somewhat inconsistent lately, ranging from 100 MMcf/d to above 500 MMcf/d. Cove Point also remains offline for annual maintenance but is expected to restart soon.

All other U.S. terminals are operating at or above full utilization.
