U.S. LNG feedgas demand averaged 15.58 Bcf/d last week, up 0.37 Bcf/d from the previous week, driven by rebounding flows to Cameron and Freeport. Both terminals returned to full operation after experiencing disruptions the previous week.

Flows to Corpus Christi were down slightly week-on-week, with feedgas intake indicating the terminal is operating at around 90% of utilization. All other U.S. terminals are operating near full capacity.

Feedgas deliveries to the commissioning Plaquemines LNG terminal have increased by about 0.25 Bcf/d over the past two weeks (see chart below). Flows to the terminal averaged 2.62 Bcf/d last week and peaked at 2.75 Bcf/d over the weekend. Plaquemines currently has 12 of 18 liquefaction blocks authorized to produce LNG and has already begun commissioning some Phase 2 facilities.

Feedgas is expected to continue ramping up with all 18 blocks likely producing LNG by year-end. For more insight on the U.S. LNG industry, check out our LNG Voyager Weekly Report.
