On April 18, Nova Gas Transmission Limited (NGTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian pipeline company TC Energy, provided notice that it will begin listing on April 25 gas flow interconnection data between its system and the Willow Valley Interconnect (WVI) as part of its daily gas summary report. WVI (yellow dot in map below) is a direct connection linking gas supplies that flow on NGTL’s pipeline system in northeast British Columbia (BC) with a meter station at the Wilde Lake compressor station (red dot) which feeds gas directly into the Coastal GasLink Pipeline (CGL, red dashed line) that will transport gas to the LNG Canada liquefaction plant in Kitimat, BC.
