RBN estimates that the combined natural gas production of the equity partners in LNG Canada rose 0.72 Bcf/d in May to a record 2.11 Bcf/d (combined height of the rightmost colored bars in top chart below), 0.25 Bcf/d higher than a year ago, and edging out the previous record high set in February 2024 at 2.10 Bcf/d. This record matches the estimated gas intake that would be required for the LNG Canada site to achieve full utilization.
