RBN estimates that the combined natural gas production of the equity partners in LNG Canada rose 0.08 Bcf/d in February to a record 2.10 Bcf/d (combined height of the rightmost colored bars in top chart below) and appears to be consolidating production above 2 Bcf/d. The new record surpasses the previous record set in the prior month at 2.02 Bcf/d. Note that we include the 0.15 Bcf/d gas supply commitment of ARC Resources to Shell Canada as part of Shell’s estimated total production. For the first time, February’s combined output from the partnership placed it at the 2.1 Bcf/d threshold for gas supplies to be committed to LNG Canada.
