On Monday, November 24, WhiteWater announced the expansion of the Eiger Express Pipeline's mainline capacity from 2.5 Bcf/d to 3.7 Bcf/d. As we detailed in our blog, Climb Ev'ry Mountain,  Eiger Express is 70% owned by the Matterhorn JV [(WhiteWater (65%), ONEOK (15%), MPLX (10%) and Enbridge (10%)], with MPLX and ONEOK each holding 15% stakes incremental to their interests in the JV.

The new pipe will run from the Waha Hub in Pecos County, TX, to the Katy area west of Houston and it will fit into the JV's wider portfolio of piplelines (shown in map below) including a connection to the planned Traverse Pipeline (dashed magenta line) in Wharton County.
