Kinetik achieved full commercial in-service at its Kings Landing processing complex (see red arrow in map below) in late September, adding 220 MMcf/d of gas processing capacity in Eddy County, NM, the company said in its quarterly earnings call November 5.
Kinetik also reached a final investment decision (FID) on its acid-gas injection (AGI) project at Kings Landing, enabling the company to take high levels of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2) at all three of its Delaware North processing complexes. The AGI project is expected to be in service by year-end 2026. In addition, Kinetik said it is finalizing the next stage of a processing capacity expansion at Kings Landing. President and CEO Jamie Welch said the AGI project positions Kinetik to capture more of the “significant sour gas opportunity” in the Northern Delaware.
Construction also progressed during the quarter on Kinetik’s ECCC Pipeline (see green arrow), which will connect the western portion of Kinetik’s system between Eddy County and Culberson County, TX. In-service is expected during Q2 2026.
