Haynesville natural gas production was a bit choppy last week. Output averaged 16.3 Bcf/d, (see dark green line below) with slightly lower production in Louisiana and slightly higher production in Texas.
Production started last week a little above 16 Bcf/d, climbed to around 16.5 Bcf/d by midweek and through the weekend, then fell to around 16 Bcf/d on August 3, according to our NATGAS Haynesville report.
The bounce was driven by improving intake on the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL) after maintenance had kept receipts low earlier last week. Maintenance is still ongoing and the Louisiana zone is expected to wrap up this week, but additional work next week could still affect Haynesville flows. Intake on Gulf Run Pipeline fell on August 3.
