NATGAS Haynesville - Aug 3, 2026

Highlights
  • Haynesville Production Fluctuates
  • NGPL Pipeline Maintenance Disrupts Flows
  • Expand Energy to Acquire Gas Marketing Company
Analysis & Insights

Haynesville production was somewhat volatile last week, as rebounding intake on NGPL after maintenance caused production to rise, only for it to fall again at the start of this week. Additional work on NGPL may continue to disrupt Haynesville flows into next week. LNG feedgas demand softened slightly due to temporary disruptions at a handful of terminals, though overall Gulf Coast demand remains strong despite ongoing maintenance at Freeport LNG. The U.S.’s largest gas producer, Expand Energy, will acquire Twin Eagle, a natural gas marketing company, to create an integrated natural gas company.
