Lower 48 crude production remained stable at 12.8 MMb/d (orange section of bar bellow) the last two weeks, the fifth and sixth consecutive weeks of flat output, according to Weekly Petroleum Status Report, which was not released last week because of a systems upgrade at the EIA. Alaskan production (gray section) held steady at 400 Mb/d, keeping total U.S. output unchanged at 13.2 MMb/d.

The EIA started reporting weekly U.S. transfers to crude oil supply, which this week totaled 715 Mb/d. This number is the total of two other data points: the weekly supply of natural gasoline and unfinished oils (yellow section) and weekly production of condensates and Alaskan NGLs (blue sliver at top). RBN's weekly Gusher report will include these numbers in addition to the overall production figures moving forward.

The most recent production numbers include a re-benchmarking, which is an adjustment to reported volumes after the EIA compares its ShortTerm Energy Outlook (STEO) and its Petroleum Supply Monthly (PSM) with current data and identifies any major discrepancies. This re-benchmarking increased production by less than 50 Mb/d.
