Jane Michalek

Jane Michalek is a Vice President for Concentric Energy Advisors and has over 30 years of experience in the North American and international natural gas and LNG industries. Prior to joining Concentric in 2011, Ms. Michalek held executive positions in portfolio management, commercial operations, commodity and currency risk management, shipping, supply, and trading for GDF SUEZ Corporation, a major international energy utility. Prior to working for GDF SUEZ, Ms. Michalek was responsible for gas supply planning, acquisition, and control for Boston Gas Company. She has an MBA from Northeastern University and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Fuel for the City – Dislodging Oil From the Northeast

While most of the country is enjoying the benefits that low cost North American supplies of natural gas bring to local and regional economies, many parts of the Northeast US and Atlantic Canada are still heavily reliant on expensive oil-based products for residential, commercial and industrial use.
