Heather Wallace has a background in sociology but has always had a passion for graphic design, spending hours on basic graphic design programs and taking a graphic design class in college. She found excitement in learning GIS and creating maps, feeling like she has come full circle now that she is getting into graphic work.
Heather's hobbies include painting, drawing, recoloring her hair, and putting together eccentric outfits. She also enjoys spending time with and singing made-up songs to her geriatric puppy.
Heather loves all forms of music, including 70s funk and soul (Bill Withers, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, The Brothers Johnson, Sly and the Family Stone), 80s pop and hairband music (Madonna, Bobby Brown, Def Leopard), 90s hip hop and RnB (Jodeci, SWV, Brandy, Monica, Mary J. Blige), dancehall, afro beats, psychedelic rock (Jefferson Airplane, Jimmi Hendrix), late 90s-2000s alternative rock, and some politically aware metal. She also enjoys present-day artists like Amber Mark, Brittany Howard, Kendrick Lamar, Janelle Monae, Jidenna, SZA, and Bad Bunny.
