The Wink to Webster (W2W) Pipeline — the largest crude oil pipeline by volume exiting the Permian Basin — was offline for planned maintenance during the first 10 days of June 2024 to reroute a small section of the line. This downtime led to a sharp drop in flows, with volumes falling by 504 Mb/d to 908 Mb/d in June (see dashed red oval in chart below). While flows have steadily recovered since the maintenance period, they remain below pre-maintenance levels.

Volumes on Midland to ECHO 3 (M2E3, purple area), which represents Enterprise’s 29% undivided joint interest in W2W, totaled 449 Mb/d in October. M2E3 has operated at full utilization for nearly all months since the pipeline became fully operational. Other W2W receipts (blue area) have been more variable, with peak volumes reaching nearly 1.1 MMb/d in February and March 2024.

W2W commenced commercial service at the end of 2020, moving crude oil from Midland to Webster and from Webster to Baytown. First flows on the Wink-to-Midland segment began in October 2023. While receipts from Wink still represent a relatively small portion of the total W2W volume, they have continued to grow, reaching 189 Mb/d in October.
