Breaking a streak of three consecituve weeks of no change, US oil and gas rig count was down slightly for the week ending November 15, declining by one rig vs. last week to 584 rigs according to Baker Hughes. Appalachia (+1) was the only basin to add rigs, while the All Other group (-2) was the only basin to post a decline. Total US rig count is down two in the last 90 days, and down 34 vs. this week a year ago. Oil-directed rigs stand at 478 (-1), while gas-directed rigs stand at 101 (-1) and miscellaneous rigs at five (+1).
