Rigs were added in the Permian (+2), while the Haynesville (-2) and Niobrara (-1) both lost rigs. Rig count has been essentially flat for the last three months, falling in the 620-625 range for most of the last quarter. Levels are well below last year's numbers however, with rig count down 151 rigs (about 20%) year on year.
