The EIA reported that total U.S. propane/propylene inventories fell by 2.8 MMbbl for the week ended January 12, which was slightly below average industry expectations for a draw of 3.2 MMbbl and the 3.4 MMbbl average decline for the week. Total U.S. propane stocks now stand at 76.3 MMbbl, which is essentially the same for the week in 2023 but 5.5 MMbbl, or 6.7%, below the 5-year maximum. Inventories are 7.3 MMbbl, or 10.5%, above the 5-year average.
