U.S. LNG exports have been buzzing with activity lately. Last week, feedgas deliveries to LNG terminals averaged 13.65 Bcf/d, with most facilities operating at or above full capacity. Notably, Freeport LNG saw some fluctuations due to a compressor issue but managed to rebound to near-full utilization. Meanwhile, Cove Point LNG hit a record high, operating more than 20% above full utilization, showcasing its ultra-peak winter performance.

On the cargo front, 27 LNG shipments set sail from U.S. terminals last week. Europe remained the top destination, receiving 16 of these cargoes, aligning with the trend of 50-60% of U.S. LNG exports heading to Europe in recent months. This uptick is partly due to Europe's continuing efforts to diversify energy sources and eliminate any reliance on Russian gas.
