US oil and gas rig count posted a modest decline for the week ending November 22, declining by one rig vs. a week ago to 583 according to Baker Hughes. Rigs were added in the Eagle Ford (+2) and Anadarko (+1), while the Haynesville (-2) and All Other (-2) both posted declines. Total US rig count is down two in the last 90 days, and down 39 from this week a year ago. Oil-directed rigs climbed to 479 (+1), while gas-directed rigs fell to 99 (-2) and miscellaneous rigs stand at 5 (+0).
