Enterprise Products Partners said Tuesday (7/30) that it will expand LPG export capacity at its Enterprise Hydrocarbons Terminal (EHT) on the Houston Ship Channel by 36%.
Enterprise said it would move forward with a 300 Mb/d expansion of propane and butane export capacity by adding more refrigeration capacity. The addition will push the terminal’s total nameplate capacity to 1.135 MMb/d. The expansion is expected to come online by the end of 2026. Executives said Tuesday during the company's Q2 2024 earnings call that about 43% of Enterprise's LPG exports go to China, 13% go to Europe and 21% go to markets in the Americas.
The expansion of EHT (yellow icon in map below) will come in addition to Enterprise’s new Neches River Terminal (NRT) (black and while striped icon below) under construction south of Beaumont, Texas.
