U.S. crude exports soared to 4.1 MMb/d last week, edging past the rolling four-week average (far right of red dashed line in chart below) and rising well above the 2025 YTD average of 3.75 MMb/d, with higher volumes seen out of the Houston, Beaumont, and Louisiana regions.

Interest from customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region has regained momentum recently, with export volumes to APAC averaging nearly 1.5 MMb/d for the second consecutive week, compared to the 2025 YTD average to the region of 1.2 MMb/d. According to the Crude Voyager Report, eleven Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) departed the U.S. Gulf Coast last week - more than twice the normal amount - reaffirming the pull from Eastern buyers.
