The EIA reported that total U.S. propane/propylene inventories increased by 3.9 MMbbl for the week ended May 26, the largest gain in stocks for the week over the last 10 years. The build was above industry expectations for an increase of 2.3 MMbbl and the 1.7 MMbbl average build for the week. Total U.S. propane stocks are now at 70.6 MMbbl, which is 19 MMbbl, or 37%, above the 5-year average. Propane exports remain low at 1,339 Mbbl/d, which is well below the 4-week average of 1,475 Mbbl/d.
