Online Encore Session
Natural gas markets are being reshaped by supply growth, rising demand and new infrastructure that is altering flows and pricing dynamics. The challenge for analysts lies not in accessing data but in making sense of it, connecting shifting fundamentals and drawing meaningful conclusions. The Natural Gas Master Class addresses this need by equipping professionals with the skills to analyze natural gas fundamentals and strengthen their understanding of a complex, evolving market.
Interpreting natural gas data is a specialized capability, and those who can accurately assess flows, storage and price relationships are best positioned to explain market shifts and anticipate changes. The Natural Gas Master Class is designed to build this expertise through practical exercises that enhance analytical ability and provide clear insight into market dynamics.
This one-day online master class blends in-depth presentations with hands-on exercises and discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to practice the methods used by leading market professionals. Lindsay Schneider, RBN’s natural gas expert and principal consultant, conducts the session with expertise in fundamentals and commercial application. By the end of the program, participants will gain practical tools to understand natural gas fundamentals and apply them as the market continues to transform.
What to Expect

Sessions include applied instruction on pipeline data, flow analysis and modeling fundamentals, along with live question-and-answer opportunities throughout the program.
Understanding the Data: EBBs, Reporting Requirements and Limitations
Pipelines report natural gas nominations through Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs).
This session explains reporting requirements, highlights the limitations of available data, and outlines best practices for extracting insight from posted information.
How to Read Pipeline Data
Data is only as useful as your ability to interpret it. This module focuses on the techniques required to read pipeline data accurately, recognize key signals and avoid common pitfalls.
Flow Analysis Overview: What It Is and How to Use It
With data in hand, the next step is translating it into a story. This session provides a clear framework for understanding the purpose of flow analysis, how it is applied and where it delivers the most value.
Modeling Production, Demand and Pipelines
Flow analysis can be used to derive real-time insights into market conditions when applied correctly. This module covers the methods for modeling production, identifying demand patterns and recognizing market dislocations that impact balances and prices.
Forecasting Regional Dynamics
Regional balances play a critical role in understanding the distribution of supply and demand. This session explains how to construct regional balances, interpret their implications for flows and pricing, and apply these insights to anticipate market outcomes.
