NATGAS Haynesville - Sep 21, 2026

Highlights
  • Haynesville Production Pulls Back
  • SOCAR Invests in Haynesville Assets
Analysis & Insights

Haynesville production fell sharply last week, reversing some of the momentum seen during the first half of September. Declines were spread across all areas in the basin and multiple pipelines. LNG feedgas demand also moved lower as several short-lived disruptions affected Gulf Coast terminals, though those issues have since cleared and intake has rebounded. Even with the pullback, production remains at a very strong level, in line with August levels and up sharply year-on-year. Meanwhile, Comstock will sell stakes in its Haynesville upstream and midstream assets to Azerbaijan’s SOCAR.
