  • QatarEnergy Signs Another Long-term U.S. LNG Deal
Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas demand declined last week as an unplanned outage and subsequent maintenance at Freeport weighed on intake, while all other terminals continued operating at full or peak levels. Golden Pass reached a new milestone as feedgas climbed to levels consistent with full operations at Train 1 over the weekend, signaling that the long-delayed commissioning process may finally be nearing completion. Global gas prices continued climbing amid colder weather and ongoing geopolitical tensions.  QatarEnergy continued securing long-term U.S. LNG supply with a new agreement with Woodside, following a recently announced deal with Cheniere.
