LNG Voyager Weekly - Aug 24, 2026

Highlights
  • Maintenance Causes LNG Feedgas to Dip
  • Golden Pass Intake Increases
  • European Storage Concerns Intensifying
Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas demand dropped last week as disruptions at Freeport and planned pipeline maintenance at Corpus Christi weighed on demand. Golden Pass feedgas moved higher as Train 1 continues commissioning, but intake remains well below full operating levels and startup delays persist. Global gas markets are facing increased upward price pressure because of Europe’s exceptionally low storage inventories. U.S. LNG exports are shifting back toward Europe, but because of the ongoing war in Iran and limited time left in injection season, Europe may not hit its inventory goals.
