Highlights
  • U.S. LNG Feedgas Demand Drops
  • Unplanned Outage at Freeport
  • ECA LNG Exports First LNG Cargo
Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas demand fell last week as an outage at Freeport LNG and planned maintenance at Sabine Pass temporarily reduced intake. Sempra’s ECA LNG exported its first LNG cargo. The commissioning single-train terminal is located on the West Coast of Mexico. U.S. exports have shifted heavily towards Asia, which is putting pressure on European prices as Europe struggles to refill its storage inventories.
