Highlights
  • U.S. LNG Feedgas Holds at Reduced Level
  • Cameron LNG Has One Train Offline for Maintenance
  • Caturus Takes FID on Commonwealth LNG
Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas remains below recent peak levels, as maintenance work at Cameron limits demand. Freeport LNG also appears to have a train offline, further reducing demand. The other U.S. terminals are operating at or around full utilization and feedgas demand is expected to climb after the month ends. Cameron LNG will restart the offline train and feedgas intake at Golden Pass should continue to ramp up as the terminal prepares to bring the first train online. Longer-term, more growth is expected as new trains and terminals come online. Caturus reached a positive final investment decision (FID) on Commonwealth LNG, the 9.5 MMtpa terminal will begin LNG production in 2030.
