- U.S. LNG Feedgas Holds at Peak Levels
- Golden Pass Achieves First LNG
- LNG Canada Eyes Expansion
U.S. LNG feedgas demand remained near peak levels last week, with higher flows to Corpus Christi offsetting minor declines at Golden Pass. Golden Pass began producing LNG on March 30 with a first cargo expected soon. Most terminals continue to operate above contracted levels, supported by tight global LNG markets and ongoing supply disruptions. While spring maintenance season may introduce some variability in flows to U.S. terminals, overall demand remains strong. With global supply constrained, U.S. LNG is likely to keep up peak operations to help offset some of the losses elsewhere. Although it is nowhere near enough capacity to cover all of Qatari LNG's losses.
