Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas demand rebounded sharply last week as several Gulf Coast terminals returned to peak operations following short-lived disruptions primarily caused by pipeline maintenance the week prior. Feedgas deliveries to the commissioning Golden Pass LNG terminal also climbed to a new record as the project moves closer to producing its first LNG cargo. Venture Global announced a final investment decision on Phase 2 of its CP2 LNG project. The decision marks the first LNG FID of 2026 and further expands the massive wave of new U.S. export capacity expected to come online later this decade.
