- Post-Storm Feedgas Rapidly Rebounds
- Cold Northeast Keeps Cove Point And Elba Below Normal Intake
- Golden Pass Says First LNG in March
U.S. LNG feedgas demand rebounded quickly after Winter Storm Fern, with most Gulf Coast terminals returning to pre-storm operations within days. Colder weather and elevated regional prices in the Northeast and Southeast continue to suppress intake at Cove Point and Elba Island. Despite the storm, January exports were very high, just below December levels in the U.S. and a new record for North America. ExxonMobil has said first LNG from Golden Pass is expected in March.
