LNG Voyager Weekly - Jan 12, 2026

Highlights
  • U.S. LNG Feedgas Dips Slightly, but Remains Strong
  • LNG Exports Continue Heading To Europe
Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas demand eased slightly last week but remains very strong overall, with all terminals operating at or above full contracted utilization and most running at winter peak levels. Variability at Sabine Pass drove most of the week-on-week change, but weekly intake was still consistent with full utilization. Europe continues to attract the majority of North American LNG cargoes. Golden Pass is still performing early startup activities and, so far, has taken only minuscule volumes of feedgas, but has received FERC authorization to modify pipeline connections to take feedgas from Trident Pipeline, which will begin service next year. Trident Pipeline will supply feedgas for Trains 2 and 3, not for Train 1.
