Highlights
  • U.S. Feedgas Demand Slides but Still at Winter-Peak Levels
  • Exports to Europe Remain Strong
  • Energy Transfer Halts Development on Lake Charles LNG
Analysis & Insights

U.S. LNG feedgas demand eased slightly last week but remains exceptionally strong, with most terminals continuing to operate at winter-peak levels. A temporary dip at Calcasieu Pass drove the week-on-week decline, while operations elsewhere remained largely steady. Exports remain robust, with Europe continuing to absorb the majority of North American cargoes as winter demand builds. On the project front, Energy Transfer has paused development of Lake Charles LNG.
