The EIA reported that total U.S. propane/propylene inventories increased by 3.1 Mbbl in the week ended September 8, which was above average industry expectations for a 1.4-MMbbl gain and the 1.4 MMbbl average build for the week. Total U.S. propane stocks are now at 99.1 MMbbl, which is 16.9 MMbbl, or 20.6%, above the 5-year average. Weekly exports of propane remain robust at 1.67 MMbbl/d, down 26 Mbbl/d from the previous week and above the 4-week average of 1.59 MMbbl/d.
