The EIA reported total U.S. propane/propylene inventories built by just under 1 MMbbl for the week ended June 7, well below industry expectations of 2.4 MMbbl and the average for the past five years. Storage for the same week last year was 7.5% higher than this year. Purity propane stocks reported by the EIA were at 43.9 MMbbl, or 63% of total U.S. inventories, up 0.91 MMbbl from the prior period.
