The EIA reported a 2.1 MMbbl build in U.S. propane/propylene inventories for the week ended May 29, exceeding industry expectations for a 1.25 MMbbl increase but falling 849 Mbbl short of the average 3 MMbbl build for the week. Total inventories rose to 83.3 MMbbl, which is 21.4 MMbbl (35%) above the same week in 2025, 23 MMbbl (38%) above the five-year average, and 11 MMbbl (15%) above the five-year maximum for this time of year.
