U.S. LNG feedgas demand hit another record, averaging 19.1 Bcf/d last week, up 0.7 Bcf/d from the previous week.

Intake at Sabine Pass, Cove Point, Cameron, Elba, Corpus Christi and Calcasieu Pass are all consistent with winter peak operations. Much of this year's growth comes from commissioning terminals. See the blue-dotted line in the graph below, which shows the rise of feedgas demand this year at all terminals, including those commissioning.

Feedgas at the commissioning terminal, Plaquemines, rose to more than 4 Bcf/d, which is likely at or near the top of the terminal’s peak performance. Now that winter demand has arrived, feedgas intake is likely to remain high. Stay tuned to the LNG Voyager Weekly Report to glean more insights about the U.S. LNG feedgas industry.
