The EIA reported a 1.8 MMbbl withdrawal in total U.S. propane/propylene inventories for the week ended December 12, smaller than both industry expectations for a 2.6 MMbbl draw and the 2.8 MMbbl historical average for the week. Total inventories now stand at 100 MMbbl, which is 9.9 MMbbl (11%) above the same week in 2024 and above the five-year maximum, while remaining 15.9 MMbbl (19%) above the five-year average.
